Emergent Church Points (ECP's) -- giving them, earning them, receiving them, tallying them -- it's the hotest new craze among pomo's! But be warned: you can lose ECP's as quickly as you can get them!
So... how do you and your emerging community rate? It's easy to find out, just use the abreviated scorecard below and then tally up your points to see if you're an emerging winner!

Chris the reality likely is, the higher the ECP...is that your " NOT ." Anyway...it was a good laugh. Hmmmm, it was meant to be funny...wasn't it?

I read through these initially for amusement, but figured I would throw my own scary factor in there, to be read as you may:
Thinking back on the last few religious ceremonies I have been a part of I added up the points. 535 including Benjy's additions, and I and those who gather with me are Pagans.

-Tatoos, beer, lighting rigs, candles, round tables, stage sets that don't make sense, people laying on the floor with pillows during a meeting.
-Reading McNeil's book "This Present Future" (like I have) and Rethinking the Wineskin,
-You have your dinner together in the name of Jesus and call it communion,
-Reading from The Message,
-Worship by sculpting or painting, -- Your family thinks you are nuts for wanting a more authentic faith than an religious one you grew up with.

Dear wanderer, I'm not sure what the interesting question was, but it might have been to do with when is getting together church, when is it not, does the difference matter? do definitions help? and will it rain tomorrow?
