I so appreciated your comments about not being angry or resentful toward the church. I remember a line from one of my favorite movies -"On Golden Pond" - Katheryn Hepburn was talking to a young 13 year old boy after an explosive situation with her husband who was 80 years old. She said to him, "Billy, sometimes you have to look deeper into a person's heart. We're all just trying to find our way. Norman just reacts to make sure he can still roar." (that's an approximate quote)
Even in the Christian realm - we have to look deeper than what we see on the surface. We're just all trying to find our way. Great interview - thanks!

Matt and Dawn,

I admire you both for "stepping out" in your faith and going against the flow to what we have been comfortable in our IC and instead moving in the flow of the Holy Spirit.

That we should be do-ers of the word and not just planting our butts in a theater chair or pew for 2 hours every week.
To step out the church doors and do what the Lord has called us to do as individuals and also to work together as one body to not seek out our own destiny, but where our place is in God's will.
Knowing that we are not good enough on our own for ministry but with God we are more than able.

Thank you both for sharing. It reminds me to stay focused on what God wants. Not to follow tradition and programs but to follow the truth of His word and hearing His voice. An intimate relationship with Him. Something the church lacks nowadays which I think is so sad and we need to help change that and you're right on.

Thank you both for ministering.
