Desert Rain... Finally!

We've had triple-digit temperatures here for the past two weeks, WITH high humidity (rare in the desert). And despite numerous predictions of thundershowers, they just haven't materialized... until now. FINALLY, we got some rain (and the lower temps to go with it)! Yippee! See for yourself:
Hopefully, it will clear up in time for tonight's fireworks display!

We're down in the desert tonight with my parents, and about to go out to set of our fireworks, as well. No rain here at all...

Chris,
The desert is a funny place to live. I spent most of the day at the pool and never saw a drop of rain. Then I saw you video and it was pouring at your house. It is interesting how it can be raining at one side of town and sunshine at the other.
