Sorry for confusion. A little play on words. Sit on your cell-(phone) would be correct. Cell-phones seem a little anti-monastic.

I think the story speaks to the value of silence and freedom from the compulsions that seek our affections daily. There is much wisdom in that, especially in today's noisy, trivial culture where everyone seems to have an answer for everything.
