25 degrees.

Tammy, can I pass you a hand-warmer? -- DP

you're right about the changes in this focus/expectation. 25 years ago you would have offered me an air conditioner. ;)

It depends. In some circles it's 99.7, in others it's 15. There's a radio station here that is as fundamentalist as they come and about every other song is about escaping this world and going to heaven when Jesus comes back. Then you have some who believe we have to build God's kingdom here on earth, that the Second Coming is a long way off.

I try to longingly expect it, but leave the timing up to the Father.

zero personally but 99 in the churches i attended and pastored ...

What can I say about your writing but “wow” – you really know your subject and put your points across well. I can’t wait for your next post. I’ve found a guy who is good to read too will pass the details on when I find them.

49 on a good day. 51 on a bad.

I had two separate dreams last week...the first, I was in a building, on an upper floor. I was looking out the window and saw a storm brewing. Suddenly, a big black tornado emerged and headed right towards me. I had nowhere to run, so I hid under the table. The tornado hit, full on. I could see and feel the turmoil around me, but amazingly I was unscathed. I dusted myself off and proceeded to Disney World (really!).
The second, again in a building like the first. This time a woman was outside, barely hanging on. Suddenly, behind her, a fire flashed up from below. I called out to her to keep holding on, but she could not and fell to her death. I escaped the building and the fire, amazingly, by a passage revealed to me as I ran in a panic.

Today I read, as scheduled in the Common Book of Prayer, Psalm 50...this verse caused me to pause:

Our God will come and will not keep silence; before him there is a consuming flame and round about him a raging storm. (v.3)

My dreams are significant to me personally, but I know He is coming...my heart is burning up at 100 degrees.
